Through community-led public health initiatives and research, the Center for Community Health (CCH) at UC San Diego’s Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute improves health outcomes, ensuring all communities have the resources to thrive—regardless of race, income, or zip code.
Systemic barriers limit access to nutritious food, maternal and child health services, and culturally responsive healthcare, disproportionately impacting immigrant, refugee, and underserved communities.
