Dancesport Team - Ballroom Dance
The UC San Diego Dancesport Team is a competitive Ballroom and Latin dance team that brings together students who share a love for dance.
Our mission is to provide a supportive community where dancers of all levels can train, compete and grow together, showcasing their skills across various styles.
We proudly host the annual “Dance by the Shores” competition, one of the largest collegiate dancesport events on the West Coast, attracting participants from schools and independent competitors alike.
On top of showcasing technical skills and style in competitions we form meaningful bonds with our fellow dancesport members as we explore the world of dance in different cities.
What we will do with Giving Day donations:
As a student-run team, we rely on fundraising and donations to keep our team going. Every contribution goes directly toward essential expenses like competition fees, travel, costumes and shoes, allowing our dancers to focus on their passion and represent UC San Diego with pride.
