Support the ENLACE Program
For over a decade, the ENLACE Summer Research Program at UC San Diego has been promoting cross border collaborations and life-long friendships among high school and college students from Mexico and the United States. Over 1,000 students have participated in this exceptional 7-week summer experience, in which students join a research laboratory based on their area of interest. Through the program, students are afforded the opportunity to work on a myriad of laboratory projects, spanning the Engineering Sciences, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences and Health Sciences. For some of students, this is their very first time stepping into a research laboratory.
The experience provides students outstanding laboratory skills in a nurturing environment, and opens the door for students to consider continuing their education by earning Master's and PhD degrees, or working in industry developing advanced technologies.
Making a gift to the ENLACE Program helps create opportunities to support future scientists and engineers and creates a more diverse scientific community by breaking down financial barriers that might preclude students from participating.
