OASIS Summer Bridge Program
For almost 50 years, Summer Bridge has been a springboard for success for first-generation and/or low-income students. These students possess the talent and determination to excel; they apply to UC San Diego, gain admission and enroll in Summer Bridge precisely because they are committed to their success.
A year-long transition program, Summer Bridge begins with an intensive summer residential experience and extends throughout the academic year. Open to first-year UC San Diego students, the program equips participants with essential academic skills, connects them with campus resources and fosters a sense of belonging through peer mentorship and community support.
