Little Blue Penguin Excellence Fund
Known for their small size and iconic blue colors, Little Blue Penguins are the smallest species of penguins. Native to the coastal dunes and rocky shores of Southern Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand, these little seabirds play an important role in our ecosystems both in the ocean and on the land. Your support of the Little Blue Penguin Excellence Fund helps us care for these penguins, sustain their habitat, and continue to breed and nurse baby penguin chicks as part of the collaborative work of Birch Aquarium and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Thanks to you, we can continue supporting healthy and thriving populations that have been declining in the wild for years from climate change and human development.
