DESIGN LAB
The UC San Diego Design Lab educates design leaders, imagines alternative futures, and equips people and communities with the knowledge, tools and opportunities to tackle the most pressing societal challenges.
Undergraduate students in the lab’s Junior Designer program can quickly convert classroom learning to hands-on projects with industry, civic leaders, and our binational community, and have been a critical force behind World Design Capital, Bay to Park Paseo, and Design for San Diego. Alumni from this program have become powerful leaders advocating for human-centered design in a wide range of industries.
The Design@Large series is both a UC San Diego course and a high-profile speaker event that is open to the public. Design@Large features experts from all over the world, in all sectors, who teach anyone who is interested how to use design thinking to solve a range of problems.
Please make a gift in support of the Design Lab this Triton Giving Day. When we come together for design-driven transformation, nothing is beyond us.
