GOLD ALUMNI

Our GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) committee is making bold steps toward supporting the next generation of alumni and creating a legacy. Their vision: to connect recent graduates to UC San Diego; to cultivate meaningful, lasting relationships with young alumni; and to create a culture of charitable giving to support future GOLD alumni. Our GOLD alumni are 91,000 strong and growing.

The GOLD committee is championing Triton values: 

• Creating community with UC San Diego GOLD alumni through events and gatherings. 
• Giving back to the next generation through leadership and philanthropy. 
• Developing relevant GOLD programs and initiatives that create a tangible impact. 
• Mentoring and educating current students through college and career advice. 
• Fostering a passion and pride for UC San Diego. 

 Recent graduates and young professionals share several universal experiences — starting a new career, moving to new cities, and making new friends outside of a school environment. GOLD-funded programs aim to bring relevant resources to GOLD alumni to aid them in this post-college journey. 

Please consider making a gift to the GOLD Fund, which will be dedicated to specific programs and initiatives that impact our 91K+ GOLD alumni across the United States and globally. These programs include professional development and alumni mentoring, as well as social resources which will enable GOLD alumni to find long-lasting alumni relationships within their community.
