STUDENT FOUNDATION
The Student Foundation is a wonderful and thriving community of UC San Diego student trustees that, together with the guidance of the UC San Diego Foundation and UC San Diego Alumni Association, plants the seed of philanthropy amongst UC San Diego students by raising money for scholarships and other student needs.
The Student Foundation strives to be a welcoming and inclusive community that brings fellow students into the organization while encouraging students to grow more in their leadership and civic engagement. Annual events, such as “Meet the Boss,” bring talented UC San Diego alumni back to campus to connect with current students on particular fields of study or career paths. Quarterly finals care packages for students help alleviate the stress of preparing for finals, papers and projects.

UC San Diego Alumni Board Challenges all Student Foundation Trustees to give to unlock a $1,000 gift.
The UC San Diego Alumni Board will donate $1,000 to the Student Foundation Scholarship Fund when all Student Foundation trustees make a gift to their scholarship fund.
UC San Diego Alumni Student Donor Challenge
The UCSD Alumni Board challenges each SF trustee to invite four students to donate to their scholarship fund and then they'll donate $50 per Student Trustee. 22 Student Trustees means 88 different students need to be recruited for a $1,100 gift.
SFIC x Student Foundation Pizza Party with Foundation Trustee Matt Newsome!
When all SFIC members donate to the Student Foundation Scholarship Fund, UC San Diego Foundation Board Member and Student Foundation Committee Chair Matt Newsome, will host a pizza party at Dirty Birds for SFIC and Student Foundation members.
